In the current transitional context of the energy sector, the Greater East region stands out as the leading national producer of wind power and has a very dynamic nuclear sector.
 
THE CHALLENGES FOR COMPANIES IN MATERALIA's SCOPE
Energy is an important developing market for companies in the cluster's area. The Greater East region now capitalises on many current and future organisations, mobilising the major national issues mentioned above.
 
ACTION TAKEN BY THE CLUSTER TO MEET THE MANUFACTURERS' NEEDS: :
  • Establishing close links between the major sites in the Greater East region
  • Establishing an interface with SMEs / SMIs of the territory
  • Upgrading the scope of small and medium sized companies and intermediate sized companies to position themselves as maintenance operator by integrating the quality and cost constraints imposed by the energy market, relying on clusters in the territory
  • Continuous monitoring of renewable energies

  • Evaluating and certifying projects that are part of the response to major national energy transition issues
