MECAFUTURE
The MATERALIA competitiveness cluster is involved in all technology and economic networks on the following levels:
Regional (innovation agencies, Chambers of Commerce & Industry, local and regional authorities etc.)
- regional
- national
- cross-border
- International
Materalia is a member of
The Mecafuture Platform includes six competitiveness and mechanical engineering clusters (Arve Industries, EMC 2, Microtechniques, Materalia, ViaMéca and Gospi) with a twofold objective:
- To provide coordination between clusters with similar purposes to improve the relevance and aim of projects,
- To act as the French contact for the European Manufuture project The Platform was launched on 4th July 2008 in the presence of the presidents from partner clusters.
Regular meetings have been held since then – on 25th September in Besançon at the Microtechniques cluster and 28th November at Materalia.
The results of this coordination thus far are as follows:
- The State has put together and validated a project common to all 5 competitiveness clusters to encourage SMEs to participate in the calls for projects within the 7th Framework Research & Development Programme
- A project in the common interests of the toolmaking sector has been drafted. It is being led by the Appolor and CRITT Metall 2T.
