Programme de travail Capacités du 7e PCRDT - Domaine SME CP
(“Capacities” work programme within the 7th FPTRD – NCP SME sector)
Through this call for proposals, the European Commission is offering financial support for innovative SMEs investing in the acquisition of new knowledge from suppliers of TRD in order to increase their competitiveness.
The call will close on 3rd December 2009 at 5 p.m. (Brussels local time).
Calls for projects: Green cars and Factories of the future
On 30th July, the European Commission launched 2 calls for projects on:
Factories of the future:
- Automation and maximisation of processes for sustainable development
- Automated production processes validated in real working conditions
- Laser applications for sustainable development
Green cars
- Components for energy-saving cars and all-electric vehicles

Ecotech 2012
Among the measures included in the "Ecotech 2012" plan is: The launch of a call for “ecotechnology” projects worth 30 million euros over three years dedicated to research & development projects, under the responsibility of DGE and linked with Oséo and Ademe.

CITEPH 3rd call for projects – March 2009
The aim of the CITEPH programme is to actively promote, in France and other countries, the knowledge, technology and progress that can result from concerted actions in innovation for the Exploration-Production in the hydrocarbon industry. 7th FRDP – 14 new calls for projects
On 19th November last, no less than 14 new calls for projects were published by the European Commission. The “Cooperation” working programme is more particularly aimed at companies. In the programme, the sections entitled “Nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies” and “ICT” (information and communication technologies) provide most of the calls and cover a number of specific topics (nanotechnologies and renewable energy, ICT for mobility etc.). These calls fund large-scale, medium-scale and SME-specific cooperative projects, with grants covering up to 100% of the eligible costs depending on the actions taken. Partnership between Lorraine Regional Council and the Caisse des Dépôts
The aim of the agreement signed by the aforenamed parties is to support economic development in Lorraine in 2009 and 2010. Among the measures designed to help business start-ups is the proposal for the creation of an investment fund for materials that encourage spinoffs from leading corporations and private research centres jointly with Lorraine’s competitiveness clusters. This document strengthens the cooperation between Lorraine Regional Council and the Caisse des Dépôts which began with the assistance packages such as regional funds for corporate set-ups or takeovers and structures such as “3i Lorraine”.
